JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) held its First Communion Ceremony for new students and their families yesterday, September 11, at the Seed Dome.

Led by School Chaplain Pastor Joshua Sebastian, communicants from Grade 3 to Senior High School were introduced to the significance of cultivating an intimate connection with God as students, alongside their parents, were invited to take their first step into developing their spiritual relationship with the Lord and partake in a covenant with God.

A special number featuring grade school pupils performing ‘Heart to Change the World’ wrapped up the program afterward, with several students embracing their loved ones.

“I have felt so.. so blessed today, and I really appreciate this activity. I thank the Lord for having something to internalize the spiritual values [of the students] and upgrade their attitude toward their lives in order to always thank the Lord,” stated Mrs. Vicky Corla, a grandparent attendee of the ceremony.
