JCA’s U-18 MBT sweep SISAC, claims Championship over CGEAHS

JCSGO Christian Academy’s U-18 MBT wins over Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School (CGEAHS) to claim the Socorro Inter School Athletic Competition (SISAC) championship. The men in blue finished their SISAC season with a 68-65 during their finals meet on Tuesday, May 28 at Socorro Barangay Hall.

JCA outlasted the early game of CGEAHS during the first half of the game, closing the quarter with 22-30 in favor of the men in blue.

Ralph Rizano had an unstoppable run during the third quarter, launching seven points that regained the momentum for JCA to help them score 39-47.

With frontline players on the defense and offensive zone such as Marc Sigua and his 14 point-performance and four rebounds, Ethan Domingo’s 11 points and two rebounds, and Charles Ustare’s double threes, JCA managed to score 68-65 in the last quarter.

Sigua finished the SISAC as one of the Mythical Five, and Rizano reigned as the Finals MVP with 27 points along with three rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal.

The men in blue took home the championship crown with a dominating run in their SISAC season, closing their SISAC journey with a team standing of 4-0.
