
Squads skirmish in SHS Sports Fest Recreational Games

The third day of the 8th JCA Senior High School Intramural games continued to captivate audiences as teams battled it out in dodgeball, agawan-panyo, and tug of war, showcasing a display of teamwork and sportsmanship last February 28.

In the battle for third place, the Prophets emerged triumphant over the Kings, claiming their spot on the podium.
The finals in dodgeball saw a thrilling match-up between the Judges and the Saints. The game was neck-and-neck, with both teams giving their all. In a dramatic turn of events, the Judges emerged victorious in overtime, clinching the championship title in a bitter-sweet victory.

In the agawan-panyo competition, the Prophets demonstrated their prowess with a win over the Judges, while the Kings secured victory against the Saints.
In the finals, the Judges once again showcased their strength, claiming victory over the Saints and solidifying their dominance in the event.

In a gripping display of strength and unity, teams of all colors battled it out in a thrilling tug-of-war competition, exhibiting the spirit of camaraderie and resilience.
As the tension peaked, the Blue Judges showcased their prowess by out-matching the Yellow Kings, clinching the third-place spot in the girlโs category.
Simultaneously, the Green Saints solidified their standing by securing a winning victory over the Red Prophets in the menโs category.
In the championship title match of the girl’s category, the Prophets and Saints competed fiercely. The Saints eventually emerged as the winners, showcasing their unyielding spirit and perseverance.
On the other hand, the Judges from the menโs category etched their name in glory, seizing the championship title in a nail-biting finish against the Kings.

The sportsfest also featured the Amazing Race, which is a team-oriented event consisting of intelligent skills and knowledge solving riddles in a variety of stations.
With games consisting of Bottle Flip, Balloon Pyramid, Back flip, Hoop Relay, Marshmallow and Defying Gravity, the Kings succeeded to upset the other teams with a speedy and action-packed win with 22.15 seconds.
The Prophets came in second place with only milliseconds short of 22.85 seconds, followed by the Saints with 23.07 for third place, and the Judges with 23.69 for fourth.
