
JCA launches JHS Intrams ’24

To celebrate JCA’s 27th anniversary, the Junior High School (JHS) Department commenced the first day of their Intramurals last February 19 with the theme, “Playing with Purpose: Putting God First in Sports,” the sports fest will run through February 22.
The opening ceremony was held at the school’s Seed Dome, with remarks from Assistant Principal Amado Sabangan, Jr., discussing the importance of characteristics, traits, and sportsmanship on and off the game field.
The event also hosted the annual Mr. and Ms. Intrams following Mr. Sabangan’s comments to the opening ceremony. Winners will proclaim on its last day, February 22.
Each team representative had the crowd cheering and applauding as they walked down the aisle. The picked members are Bianca Del Rio and Ho Shin, Red Conquerors; Emm Go and Rueben Tumapang, Orange Embers; Sophia Corpuz and Zam Ma-ao, Yellow Chevaliers; Martina Reyes and Emmanuel Go, Green Prodigies; Kaye Montano and James Castillo, Blue Seraphim; Leila Lee and Ryan Repiso, Violet Vanguards.
Following the pageant show, the leaders of each team ran around the court for the torch-lighting ceremony and the oath of sportsmanship, led by Women’s Volleyball Varsity Ashleigh Villanueva.
