It’s that time of the year again in JCA, where an event is filled with happiness and excitement because it is all about the Bible Month. There were competitions like Bible Quiz Bee, The Bible Storytelling, “The Tree of Hope ” and “ Wear a Scripture Shirt”. The whole month of January transformed into a vibrant celebration of Bible Month for JCSGO Christian Academy, where God’s word came alive for everyone. It was a time filled with learning, friendly competitions, and activities that warmed the hearts of the students, teachers and staff.
The excitement kicked off with the Bible Quiz Bee. Each grade level sent their sharpest minds to battle! This is where the students’ Bible knowledge was surely put to the test. From the very beginning of creation to the wise words of Jesus, the room crackled with energy as everyone showed off their knowledge of the scripture. It was a true testament to the dedication and hard work everyone put into studying God’s word.
Bible Month wasn’t just about brains! The Bible Storytelling competition transported us to different chapters of the Bible. Students transformed into costumed actors, bringing beloved stories to life. One moment, we were sailing with Noah on his ark (filled with adorable paper mache animals), and the next, we were cheering for Moses as he parted the Red Sea with a mighty wave of his staff! This event showcased the participants’ amazing talents in narration and storytelling. Truly these fun performances showed us that the Bible isn’t just old stories; it’s full of adventures, courage, and lessons that live on even today.
The fun doesn’t stop there as students join hands for the Tree of Hope activity; A contest that absolutely represented the teamwork and cooperation of each student as they wrote a prayer or message of hope on a colorful leaf. As we watched the tree fill up, it became a symbol of our combined faith and the power of prayer. It was a beautiful reminder that no matter what challenges we face, we can always find hope in God’s word. At last, the final competition to complete the Bible Month was called “Wear a Scripture Shirt ” where all of the Grade School learners actively participated by wearing their very best and creative scripture shirts.
The Bible Month wasn’t just about competitions and activities; it was about growing closer to God and each other. Everyone learned new things, made new friends, and most importantly, felt the joy of being part of a community that loves and cherishes the Bible. And that’s something to cherish, even after the month of January ends. This Bible Month meant a lot to proud JCAians who came out victorious in the events, definitely deserving of every applause and congratulations!
